My position as a Senior Art Director on the Amazon Prime launch campaign in Nigeria included conceiving the creative concept, establishing the creative direction, and executing the campaign across all materials, including print, digital, and OOH. I worked closely with the creative team to ensure that all campaign materials were visually appealing, on-brand, and effective in expressing campaign messaging to the Nigerian audience. In addition, I was an integral part of the pitch design process, collaborating with the team to build a visually appealing and engaging pitch that effectively communicated the campaign's vision and aims. The outcomes are self-evident, with improved brand exposure, engagement, and revenue.
Nigeria is a performance stage with Nigerians as the actors. Wherever you turn, you are never short of “Entertainment”. We never run out of entertaining material (From Drama to comedy). You will always find such content on the street, in buses, at the office, on local blogs (Instablogs), other content streaming providers (IROKO, NETFLIX, DSTV). The SVOD marketplace has become hotly contested, raising barriers to entry into the market. To gain a share of the Nigerian audience, new entrants will need to have exceptional material. This campaign is asking consumers to Keep “it” Where it belongs. “It” refers to the entertaining content around us. Switch your attention from the entertainment happening around you everyday, to the phletora of entertaining content available on Amazon Prime Video.
Consumer demographics, lifestyles & personalities' information do predict SVOD genre consumption and SVOD platform consumption. This campaign, we explore the different consumer behaviour as it relates to content consumption. We categorised them into; 1. Movie Junkie 2. Critic 3. Fanatic 4. Binge Watcher We created a series of content around the personalities of the different viewers letting them know that amazon prime has the ability to match their content viewing behaviour.
