I was tasked as an Art Director with developing a corporate identity and style guide for a new payment solution product in a competitive market. The need to differentiate the product from competitors, address user needs, work with stakeholders, and future-proof the design were all hurdles in this project. To solve these issues, I conducted thorough market research to discover the product's unique selling characteristics and the target demographic. I then created a brand identity that differentiates itself from competition while maintaining a consistent visual language across all touchpoints. When designing the brand identity and style guide, I also addressed user demands and preferences, and I refined the design with user testing and feedback. I worked directly with stakeholders such as product managers, marketing teams, and executives throughout the project to ensure the brand identity and style guide fit with the company's vision and goals. Ultimately, I developed a versatile brand identity and style guide that can evolve with the product and market trends, as well as design systems and guidelines that can be readily updated and scaled as the product grows.
